An excellent camera phone, the K770i is an updated and slimmed-down version of the classic K800i camera phone. Its camera is 3.2 megapixels with autofocus
and digital zoom, but it uses a standard LED instead of the superior xenon flash fitted on the K800i. With video calling, a music player, Bluetooth, expandable memory and a high quality LCD display, the K770i is a good all-round package with a relatively slim and lightweight form. The K770i is a rehashed version of the K800i. The K800i was one of the best camera phones ever, and the K770i has most but not all of the features that made the K800i so good. The K770i has a new look, with the annoying joystick of the K800i replaced by a 5-way navigation key, and it's a little slimmer and lighter than the old K800i. However, the K770i is missing a few features that the K800i had: a xenon flash on the camera (the K770i has a weaker LED flash); and the internal memory of the K770i is 16 Mbytes compared with 64 Mbytes in the K800i. Available in Truffle Brown (pictured), Pink, Sandy Beige or Ultra Violet (purple), it's worth considering as a slimline alternative to the K800i, but on balance we still prefer the good old K800i.
